I am checking out Orson Scott Card's works this month. First I am reading Alvin the Maker stuff in a compilation book called Hatrack River Then probably the Ender saga. After that I will follow my nose into a few more of his books.

The only fantasy book I'm going to try to get to this month is' The Dark Glory War' by Michael Stackpole. I'm currently reading mostly science fiction, so I may not even get to it.

Still on Otherland. But I bought 'Into Thin Air' - the Everest book - for my plane fodder...

I'm hoping to find the time to finish Fritz Leiber's Swords series. I'm also reading Moby Dick, but that might go on right into september, at the rate I'm going.

I just finished In Green's Jungles, the second volume of Gene Wolfe's The Book of the Short Sun. It's mesmerizing, as are all of Wolfe's novels.
I'm also plodding through the sometimes impenetrable A Fish Dinner in Memison by E.R. Eddison. Has anyone here read the entire Zimiamvian Trilogy and felt like he/she fully comprehended it?
