Hi- I'm trying to track down the authors and locations in whatever book they were in of two specific stories. I thought they were Bradbury stories, but can't seem to find them.
Plot of one: settlers on a planet find the last Martian? He is able to change into whatever they want him to be. They surroundhim, he starts metamorphosing too fast and they basically emotionally suck him dry and kill him

Plot of the other one:
Settlers on a planet all contract a plague and die- everyone but one person.
We discover that when they landed, there was an encounter on a path and the other astronauts basically forced the natives aside as they encountered them, but one man stepped aside on the path to let the natives pass- he offered them respect, and he was the only one who didn't die.
Does anyone remember these stories and where they could be found ?
Thinking they were published sometime between the 60's and the mid 70's.
It's driving me nuts! Thanks!
:D:D

The first is Bradbury's "The Martian". First published in Super Science Stories in Nov '49 and then later in the "The Martian Chronicles" collection.

The later, I'm afraid, is not so familiar to me.

Well done, Jim!

The other one sounds familiar to me, but.....
