Caballein misain ye

I know you all want to know what books I brought today so here ya go:
American Gods - Neil Gaiman
The Earthsea Quartet - Ursual Le Guin
Knights Dawn - Kim Hunter

I had intended to get "Hero's Die" but they only had "Blade of Tyshalle" so I have to wait a few weeks while they order it. The bookstore was a nice little speciality scifi/fantasy place called PulpFiction. A great range of books that usually arn't available from aussie bookstores.

So what did you just buy???

Good god I speelt bought wrong:p .

Ah. American Gods. I really liked that one. Awesome book.

But as for buying books, I can only afford a few a month, so I get everything from the library.

-Age of Arthur by J.Morris
-The Physician by N.Gordon
-Indian Wars by R. Utley

None of which are Fantasy so they probably don't apply but you asked :)

Currently reading: I'm half way through Eye of the World.

My first post here...

I've been reading this forum for quite a while now (mainly for recommendations on what to read next) and thought it about time I registered and started posting :)

Anyway, my 2 most recent purchases are:

The Saints of the Sword - John Marco
The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant - Stephen Donaldson

My birthday was in June and I received $65 in gift cards between two bookstores!!! From the first store I bought:

Kingdom of Cages by Zettel
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds
The Dark Glory War by Stackpole

From the second store I bought:

The Scar by China Mieville
Contacting Aliens by Brin & Lenagh

Obviously, this is the most books I've ever bought at once (and probably will be for many years). What made it even better was the first store had a really good sale going on. Before that I think the most books I bought at once was two.

Sorry, I realize that some of the books above aren't in the fantasy genre.

I'm trying not to buy books b/c I'm saving money for my wedding, but I just can't help myself.

Most recent purchases:

Summers at Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn (for a book club). Very pathetic book imo.

The Waterborn by J. Gregory Keyes-- Very good writing, cool plot, unique world. I can't figure out why I can't get into it.

The Glasswright's Journeyman by Mindy L. Klasky--Bought it b/c I've read the others and want to like them. Haven't had a chance to open this one yet
