So yes, we do this every year, look forward to highly anticipated reads, this time for 2011.

On Amazon, many of the publishers have their listings up until June 2011, so you can get a good look at what is coming out. Alternatively, there is the Locusmag forthcoming books list which was updated up until June as well.

http://www.locusmag.com/Resources/ForthcomingBooks.html

For monthly updates, Fantasybookcritic, sfsite and sfrevu are sites I check that give regular updates on what is coming out in the field.

So, currently on my to-buy list for 2011:

White Luck Warrior- Scott Bakker- April
The Heroes- Abercrombie- January
The Wise Man's Fear- Rothfuss- March
Republic of Thieves-Lynch- February/March
Fenrir- MD Lachlan- May
Cold Commands- Morgan- April
The Inheritance- Hobb ( story collection)- April
Sleight of Hand- Beagle -March
Crucified Dreams- edited by Lansdale -March
Embassytown- Mieville- May
Secret Journeys of Jack London- Lebbon- March
Enterprise of Death- Bullington- March
The Dragon's Path- Abraham- April in the UK, June in the US
Leviathan Wakes-Corey ( Abraham pseudonym)- May
Other Kingdoms- Matheson ( new Fantasy from Matheson)- March
Brayan's Gold- Brett- February ( small novella)
Prophecy: Clash of Kings- MK Hume- January
Magician King- Grossman- date unknown, expected summer/Fall.

Maybe:
Dance with Dragons-GRRM ( I'd be baffled if this once again failed to make it, GRRM seems close enough that it should at least be out in 2011 but he can always disappoint.)
The Crippled God- Erikson ( just to see how it all ends)
Coldest War-Tregillis ( if it actually comes out)
Life on Mars-Strahan
Deathless-Valente
The Unremembered- Orullian ( big debut from TOR)
Mechanique- tales of the Circus Tresaulti- Valentine- May

So what does everyone else have?

Yeah, it's not.

You must be thinking of something else.

And Amazon actually offers e-books for free?

Sorry I'm confusing it with Spellwright by Charlton, which is actually available on Amazon for free (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spellwright/dp/B003P9X70I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=digital-text&qid=1285504856&sr=8-1).
