Anyone know any good books with or about hit mans or assassins for hire ?
Haven't come across any series or stand alones about this subject that were really good.
I reckon somebody would have covered this by now :)

So any tips are welcome !
Thanx in advance

The Day of the Jackal is a classic. Definitely read that.

Another good one is The English Assassin, part of the Gabriel Allon series of books by Daniel Silva.

I haven't read it, but Hit Man by Lawrence Block might fit what you're looking for.

And there's always James Bond, with his license to kill.

Barry Eislers Rain series is somewhat enjoyable in the assassin department.

The series by Lawrence Block is great. Keller is a great character. Andrew Vachss writes some great stuff.

Actually, he did do one that I know of! His Batman is pretty hard core. It was a novel though, I have not seen the comics. His book is called....The Dark Knight? I may be wrong.
