An ode to the mods

I hope all of my fellows will find it in their hearts to forgive me for this. As for the mods. Well I would appreciate another 200 posts will be added to my total :D Now enjoy.

Ode to the Mods

This is an ode to the mods,
All though most are clods,
I mean not to ramble, so here without preamble,
Are the notorious and glorious mods,

First there is Erebus the just.
Reading his books is a must,
He casts nary a glare, and is always fair,
I pray that his mirror never rusts, busts,

Next in line is Sammie the fine,
When she was Sam I thought her a man,
But now I know she just loves to spam

Da da da dah da dah da da

Of the great Cad I'll say nothing bad,
'Cause when he is mad all else gets sad,
With flames and wings, he and E have a fling,
and I hope he doesn't come roaring after, faster,

Gemquest o Gemquest has many a tale,
Of jewlery and thieves,
And men drinking ale!

Da da da dah da dah da da

Keyoke rhymes with me oak, and wee folk,
What else I know of this could be foe,
Is about as hard as plaster, alabaster

The final mod lives in the smog,
And goes by the name of Fitz Flogg,
He is occasionally quiet, but always a riot,
Now that raps up the mods,

Da da da dah da dah da da

One man is now left,
Who stands above all of the rest,
In the new forum order,
He controls all the borders,
And is called the great Dag, bag

Without all these guys,
This site wouldn't survive,
Of them I am gratefull
Although I am prankfull,
Long live the glorious, notorious mods!

Great one Shef, especially how you handled "Keyoke".

I think we should start a poetry forum here. ;)

Why suck up, I'm just gonna kill 'em all when the NEW FORUM ORDER rises in revolt aginst the cruel and hartless overlords....

That is unless they provide at least three pounds of cheese dip in an unmarked box by midnight...

Only threee pounds? I would have gone for at least 5.

And you need something to go with the dip. Or do you just eat it with a spoon?

Well, Shef, as I said somewhere else not that long ago...you are becoming quite the poet. I am most impressed, and flattered to boot! :)

Did you hear about shards with text on them having been discovered in the library of Alexandria's ruins, revealing that the ancient Gods on the Olympos were not actually called Zeus, Apollo, Chronos, Hera, etc. but Erebus, FitzFlagg, Sammie, Cadfael, GemQuest, Ogg... (I hope I don't forget one) ?
