Has anybody read them?? I've enjoyed the first two but I haven't heard much praise or criticism. Has anybody else read them??

They're okay. They read like a well-made but disposable action movie which you forget five minutes after finishing it. There's some good ideas and a few good action sequences but the characterisation is somewhat thin and there's a lot of cheese.

I read them and both are quick, fun reads without a lot of substance. If someone is looking for the opposite of the androgenous, brooding, sparkly vampires that for some unknown reason have become popular as of late, they might enjoy these---nothing spectacular but I've certainly read worse books.

I've read both and enjoyed them very much. As others have said they're quick, fun reads. I really liked the character Setrakian and thought his back story was interesting.

Hmm, read the first, but based on that I skipped the second. Based on my limited sampling, I'm with Wert's comments.

Only have the first but haven't read it yet
Both parts have gotten good reviews so it can't be that bad
