Lately I've been having technical difficulties when I first come to the sffworld main page. When the advertisement comes up my page starts loading. Which doesn't bother me, because if I close the screen, then click on here again then it loads quickly. But whenever I try to submit anything on this site, the Thank you page starts to load but then an advertisement comes up and it stops loading. So therefore I can't submit anything. I've got some ideas on what to try, I'll see if I can fix things, but could you look into this, because it is starting to get annoying, because I like to check the main page everyday and it is annoying to load it twice. Thanks!

Sorry, KC, I'm not quite sure what you mean there, but please let us know if you continue to have problems with the site and perhaps you can explain it to us in more detail. :)

KC.. is it not that it appears to stop loading... pop-ups do tend hog the download process... and only allow the main page to open when they have done their work.

Failing that... a good popup killer is an idea.

Yea I've had some problems loading the sffworld main page in the past. From what I could tell, the popup's server was down or lagged... that led to a delay in loading the page (the popup connection had to timeout before continuing to load the page).

Nope, that is not the problem, it just stops loading. I can leave it sit on the site for an hour and it will just stop completely. It wouldn't annoy me so much, but it doesn't let me submit my work and I want to! I don't know if you can help, but if you have any ideas, I'll take em'. *They probably have no idea what the problem is because I can't explain it well enough*

Sounds strange, exactly what webpage are you having problems with? A couple of other things that can help me figure it out is what kind of browser you are using and which version it is.

Well Dag. Actually, the last couple of times that I've tried it nothing has popped up at all, eliminating the problem. So maybe it will work. I'll reply tomorrow when I try to submit a poem. If it works, I'll let you know. Thanks for now!
