Okay, I have told many of my friends about this discussion forumn and none have even take much more of a glance at it. It has been infuriating for me. I was just wondering, how many people do you know personally who post on this forumn? And how many other people have you met on this forumn then met in person? For me it is 0 for both. You?

If I lived in another part of the world instead of the apostrophe of land that is my country, it might have been easier to meet some fellow forumites in person.

Talaith, Holbrook and Jacquin are all familiar to me from another forum, where I have been posting for a couple of years now.
It is their presence here that makes me feel comfortable in posting, being familiar with their online personalities - otherwise I would tend to lurk a long time.

But I've not yet met any of them in person.
:)

It would be nice to see a listing of users by country btw!
I looked at the members link to see if the country of origin was listed, but it doesn't.

0 to the first because my family don't use computers much, and 0 to the second because you never know who is an axe wielding pyschopathin real life. That and I tend not to form friendships with people online.

As you might guess, I know but have not personally met Tblue, Holbrook, and Jacquin. Hopefully I'll get to meet Jacquin soon and then, sometime next year, meet Holbrook too. I don't want Tblue to feel left out, so I guess I will have to plan another trip sometime!

Tblue can be described as axe-wielding (and sword-wielding, bow-wielding, spear-wielding, mead-wielding...), but is very nice for an axe-wielder. :D

I also forgot about that sinister looking furry thing in the lower right hand corner. Very sinister looking that...

Met personally, Well Jacquin (He lives here on and off *g*)

Known TBlue for about three years, Talaith about 18months though it feels longer *g*

My alter ego on the forum far far away has met a number of it's members both from the States and UK.

Hopefully will be seeing Talaith soon the winter is not far off now....(God knows what she will think of us all *g*)

I have some good e.mail friends around the world

Well must budddies are computer geeks. The last thing in the world they wanna do is sit on line, that is unless they are sitting on line as I "open-up-a-can" on their non-tatical butts during a game of Warcraft II.:D In reality everybody has kids, jobs, social stuff, church, school, and a bizillion other things to do. So I guess the answer to that is 0. I have this serious gas thing, nobody really wants to get to close, so the answer two the second question is also 0.

I've told a few people about this forum, but so far no one has joined...I think.

One person lives a few cities away, but I've not met him in person yet.

My mother in law has posted once or twice here.

but basically it is I who posts more often, I try things to see how they are accepted, sometimes gets me into trouble. I have several friends around the world now. Some are more like family than friends and some, well If I didn't know them I would not want to meet then anyway.

So I can say yes, and no. My mother in law dosen't post often here, but she is just across the street from me, and for those who do post, they live across the globe from me.;)
