Good morning all! I'm new here, so I hope I don't tread on any paws.

I have a vague memory of reading an SF story in which men begin to menstruate (or perhaps turn into women?) in middle age. Can anyone help identify the title or author?

Many thanks if you can! :)

That would be kind of cool if I had a period every month... I could finally convince my girlfriend that intercourse was more pleasurable at "that time of the month."

As for the SF story... I seem to remember a short story and though I can't remember the title, I'm positive it was written by one of the well known ladies of Science Fiction.

You have no idea how much hollow laughter you have caused :).

For some reason...and with no guarantee of accuracy....the name Philip Jose Farmer comes to mind.
