Blobs for its structure, sentiment, distinctive take on a universal.
(The Pitch was the other contender for me, for its excellent, rich dialogue and character tensions.)

I voted for Realities of War. I would have to say I wished he didn't die, but again I hate sad endings. I hate reality shows even more, lmao.
Only reality shows I watch are American Idol and Hell's Kitchen. Rest can pound salt and only tune them in when I have nothing better to do (aka sicker than a dog) and they are in rerun status.
But back to piece. It was toss up between this one and It was a dark and stormy night. I got it, but only read it like two days ago. I always get HE work for some reason. :D.
Michael's work just won out my vote by hair.
Thanks everyone for good reads this month.

Quick question: maybe I missed it, but...how many votes do we get?

Yeah, that's what I figured, but Pookie and Ramirez voted twice (once on each voting thread).
JM - please help.

well crap, I thought he said one per thread. lmao. reread it and misread it. I have a mild form of dyslexia so..let just say I misread it read one per thread, not one between the two threads....
Uggg sorry.

I usually like being able to cast multiple votes, but this time around one story jumped out at me as my clear favorite. I'm gonna re-read all of the entries, just to see if I feel any differently a second time around, but i'm fairly certain I know where my vote is going.
edit: I liked a lot of the stories better on the second read, I'm less conviced I know who I'm voting for.

My bad, I thought it would be two polls that would filter down to one last poll. I don't think my second vote will matter, as my first vote for The Realities Of War is most likely the only one that will stand a chance.

didn't realize you could only vote for 1 piece thought it was 1 piece per thread. UGGG.
So that in mind my one vote will have to be:
Dr. Porter’s Last Moving Picture Show By Mike Hazelwood I'm sorry for the mixup, I loved both pieces :(
but please remove my vote for:
The Realities of War by Michael Gardiner
Since I can only vote once, JM. Again sorry for the mixup.
