So here is another pointless and yet moderatly interesting thread!

Imagine the world was destroyed in a viscous nucleur war and all civilized life was anialated... No electricty, definatly no industry, no comunication other then man to man, face to face and in this time the destined leaders rise. People grow cruel and murder fro scraps of bread and among all this chaos we begin to remember the mighy kindomgs that once stodd on nothing save the craft of a mans hands, and wtithout computers and medival world rises, and inevitably battle calls!

In this situation, what would be your weapon of choice? Are you a brave bladesmen who weilds a mighty two handed sword, or a swift unreachable bowman? For me personally (given my experiance in the martial arts) I'd choose two short swords, and as a backup, a bow.

my weapon of choice would be a little bottle containing 'distilled odours of Ogg'

My weapon of course would be my magic. My infinite amounts of magic. Buhahahahahahahaha. Buhahahahahahaha

Manticore approaches and opens his bottle and the Chicken exclaims "what can your little bottle do to the most powerful sorceror that ever liv..." He is cut off as he passes out from the terrible odor.

Manticore laughs and whispers quitly to himself "Thanks Ogg ol' pal. This stuff never fails"

FOCL, KC :D:D:D:D:D

Ten minutes later, manticore regains consciousness.

'Damn, I forgot the gas mask again,' he says. he slips the bottle into its spill-proof container and vanishes into the night.

I think my weapon of choice would be a toilet seat lid: there would be plenty laying about, they are easy to grip, and it would double as a sheild.

Runner up would be a frying pan. I never was very skilled with traditional weaponry :D

I would, as always, rely on my snazzy dancing to "wow" my enemies until their heads' explode.

Morning Star

If only because of the name.

A rifle would have been my choice, but i guess they'd be a little shoddy in a no technology world, so I'll go with a nice pair of shotguns, cause it's always best to have a weapon you know how to use, and yes you CAN have them in a society without electricity or industry!

Plus a sharp knife, just in case. Or maybe three.

I'd like to say archer - there's something i findkinda romantic, i guess, about archers, but i hear it's more than a little tricky to master!

Good question, Shanoncia. I like it.
