BillyF2's post reminds me of when I was 16 and I got slaughtered drinking Cointreau. Even the thought of the smell of the drink would make me feel sick for years afterwards. If one overindulges then active dislike can easily result.

"Da Vinci Code" challenged (even if only ficticiously) the basis of Christian dogma. One of my friends refused to read it due to his pastor's recommendation.
I prefer to read non-fiction science books interchanged with Classics and mystery novels. Still engrossed in "Figments of reality" by Jack Cohen and Ian Stewart.

Dude that is a good way to get slaughtered!!!
Agree very much with you last sentance, i used to have a paticular fondness for Jam Tarts, stuffed my face with them all the time, and one day i just felt so sick eating them, i never looked at one again.
And the moral of the story is: Eat more choclate Bourbans, uuummmm their delicous!

I usually read Anne McCaffrey and manga, but after my friend lent me The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood, I read it quite a lot. After a couple of weeks I discovered a new manga series called Legal Drug. Also, I assumed that my sister had given The Blind Assassin back to my friend.
I've gotten a craving for more adult-ish novels after reading that, so currently I'm looking for Histoire d'O (Story of O) by Pauline Réage. It sounds like a fascinating read, and although it won a major literary award, it was also banned for a while because of its extreme sado-masochism. I read on Wikipedia that it actually coined a few terms that are still in use today.
Anything that can win a literary award AND be banned for that same award-winning content seems very much worth reading :D.
