I'm Going To Write a Book

Hi there, all and sundry. As you can see by the number of posts I've made and the year I joined I'm almost as old as this place.

Although I do just tend to lurk these days.

But I thought of something that might interest some of you, so thought I'd delurk and see if I can get some more people on my bandwagon ;-)

I've been writing a semi-successful blog for just under a year now, and have now decided that the time is write to unleash The Novel upon the unsuspecting world!

Throughout the next year I'll be blogging constantly on my progress and also highlighting the art of getting a book from pen and paper to printed novel.

Hopefully!

So, feel free to read my blog and come along for the ride. Of course, for a more detailed and indepth look at writing and publishing you can't beat the old SFF forums... but maybe my take will add a little something different.

I'll still be lurking these forums and dispensing pearls of wisdom *cough* every now and then, so have fear. I mean, have NO fear.

Oh, and if this needs to be moved to another section then mod-away!!

Hey Solaar, nice to see you around, but as you know, we can't do the link to my novel/blog thing here. I've left the invitation thread for those who would like to chat with you, and if someone asks for it, you can send the link to them by PM, but I have removed the link itself. If you have any questions about this, PM me.

What will your novel be about?

Ah, see what happens when I haven't been around as much as I should, Kat? ;-)

So, as the grand lady says, please PM for details and I shall pass them on to you all.

Rocket - it's a zombie tale, and I think I've got a hell of a story to tell.

Then again, don't we all? ;-)

I digitally enhanced one of the pictures Solaar put up of his notebooks, and I can exclusively reveal it's a zombie version of the The Pickwick Papers.

it'll make a change from zombie versions of Jane Austen I suppose

lol thanks guys!!

The blog does seem to have struck a chord with a lot of people, and I've been amazed how many of my friends have sent me private messages spurring me on and wanting to know how the whole process works.

I feel it's a good idea for myself to do it in this way, as now I won't just be letting myself down if get to that 200 page mark and lose interest or start writing something else.

game on
