sorry to have to ask this. Are the sub-genres marked seperately? Cause How can you compare horror to fantasy? Or together...

I guess in a nutshell the stories will be adjudged on their individual merits and the author's ability to complete a compelling story in 1000 words or less - something I've always found to be a worthwhile yet enjoyable challenge. And the contest is primarily for the enjoyment of our members, to help showcase their talents etc. I guess we won't be debating genre semantics - at least not as far as I am concerned! http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Is this contest open to Canadians as well? I know that a lot of U.S. based contests can't be run up here... can I still enter, even if I can't get a prize?

If Caldazar can make it all ten, I'll write up a masterpiece in 20 minutes, and submit it under ten different author names.
I'll even accept that sloppy wet one from Erebus http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
