Audio cassette question

Sammie

Does anyone happen to know if an audio cassette ordered from the US will play in a standard UK tape player???

I ask because the story-tape I'm after is available from US amazon but not UK, and i do know that VHS cassettes don't transfer between countries.

Cheers. Sammie.

I'd think that like CD's and records, there will be no difference.
98% sure.
I wouldn't fork out a heap unless you were pretty sure though.

Trust me Sammie... they will work. When i was in the forces I used to buy audio cassettes from all over the world... I still have some of them... and they play just fine in my cassette deck. This is the same with Cd's as well... I used to order a lot from CD Universe in the US before they affilated with Amazon.co.uk.
