Do you think Saavik was a Romulan/Vulcan hybrid?

According to the newest edition of Star Trek: The Magazine, the writers for ST II: TWOK originally put in the script and story that Saavik's mother was the Romulan Commander seen in "The Enterprise Incident" and her father was Spock.

I actually do think she is a Romulan/Vulcan hybrid.

What do you think?

Well, dont they end up together in the books? so i hope not, unless vulcans do things differently of course.
Besides, dont you think she'd have been with the romulans if she was? i wouldnt have thought the daughter of a romulan would be welcome in starfleet.
