Naval Fantasy?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good fantasy that deals with the ocean. Something similiar to the Liveship series, lots of ships, boats, etc.

It doesnt appear to be much out there.

It doesnt appear to be much out there.

Not judging by the last two series I’ve read :)

Quite a bit of time is spent out on the ocean in The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, though I wouldn’t really recommend it to someone looking for naval fantasy.

Marco’s Tyrants and Kings (though not until the second book, if I remember correctly) has some great naval action. Lissen schooners vs. Naren dreadnoughts :)

Corsair by Cris Bunch is set in a world about the Spanish Gallion level of ship design lots of action.:D :D

The Summerlands series by Ellen Foxxe about ten percent sea action in the 1st book fifty percent in the second.:) :)

Alot of the newer Drow books buy R.A. Salvatore are set at sea no canon but plenty of raking passes with arrow fire and magic.

How about:

the Amazing Voyage of Azzam.

An Arabian Nights fantasy adventure in the Sinbad vein.

A review of it should be forthcoming on the main page.

Ps
I am new here.
Hi y'all.

Janny Wurts' 'Wars of Light and Shadows'.
I think Janny Wurts herself likes to set sail, so . . .

Here's some that I can think of:

I'm just finishing up The Scar by Mieville. Most of the story takes place on or under the ocean.

Some Conan stories take place on the seas.

A lot of Ursual LeGuin's Earthsea books take place on seas since the only land on her world are islands.

Paul Kearney's Monarchies of God series has quite a bit of naval action in it.
