Erebus

You mentioned in a previous thread the mags, Aurealis and Andromeda Spaceways as being two good Australian magazines to submit short stories to.

Do you what the tones are?

On the Andromeda site is says fun not gritty, and M rated.

Can't find much on Aurealis without purchasing the magazine, which I don't want to do at this point.

Also, fun can be a little constricting when writing fantasy/sci-fi containing violence etc. Any other aussie mags that a little edgier?

I'll have a think on some other mages ans e-zines later, but in the meantime, these are the Guidelines (http://www.sf.org.au/aurealis/guidelin.html) for Aurealis submissions.

I'll get back to you again soon. :)

Thanks. I've read the guidelines for Aurealis, just not sure what tone they like in their stories (ie. fun, or if they don't mind themes and plots that are violent etc.)
