Hi, new to the site, but a regular reader of SF on and off over the years.

My question: I've read, and enjoyed all the Iain M Banks books - love the scope of the books, the humour and the opaqueness of them - so what should I try next?

Have read a few Alistair Reynolds books - liked them, too, but not as much as Banks.

Also done Herbert, Asimov years ago.

I'd welcome any suggestions on where to venture next!

Thanks.

You could browse our Main Science Fiction (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7) forum and find a lot of recommendations, but I'd initially point you to these threads:
