Serious Posts

I truly do not want to ruin a serious post with spam. So I have decided to put a plan into action that was mentioned in the feedback section. How about anyone who wants real answers and opinions use the little post icon like the one I put on this thread. Please bring up any possible problems, opinions, or ideas in this thread.

Thanks,
Sheffield

That seems like a good idea Shef. Very thoughtful. *would like to see Ogg turn that into an insult of Iowa*

But can I do little blurbs in the *'s? I like doing that, it adds fun to my posts.

It is a good plan.. but.. you really should know anyway which topics are serious... If a members asks a serious question... ie... your favourite bands?... it is common sense that this is not a spam topic... and we do like to leave that to your descretion... you are not children. Sadly sometime we do have to step in.. Especially a few month ago... one member posted a heartfelt story about losing her dog... and the spammers were in action by the third post!!!!

Good idea shef but I'm with Cad on this one. If you start that little icon thing it will liscence crazy people like me to spam as much as we want to on anything without it the paper. :)

I believe Shef that it is a very good idea. But, it will never work. Just because people are too spam-happy around here (not including me, of course). There's just no way to keep out spam entirely. It's a lost cause. :(

It was noble of you to try though. :)

Yeah, I used to like spam, but now I'm kind of starting to hate it. It has been increasing far too much. In small doses it is fun, but now it is too much. It is not fun to read pages of spam for a serious answer to a question. I'm sorry, but I'm starting to be turned off by most spam lately. Although I'm sure that will wear off in a little bit.
