Fiddler's game was my favorite this month and I also enjoyed One Last Sermon. Honerable mention to Jevon's game. As always, hard to choose, well done everyone!f

My votes on this thread went to Jevon's Game (aka Xavier's Eleven) and Fiddler's Game.

The Polling Gods are working against me again. I had three top stories before DR got to posting the polls. Turns out all three are on this list and I can only vote for two. Nuts!
I was going with Jevon's Game, Felix Culpa, and Fiddler's Game. For no other reason than I can use the term, I will go with game's theory.

This has been an interesting vote format - not sure how I feel about it? I always enjoy having more votes to cast but depending on where the stories get slotted it turns into a funny game.

Anyhoo - in this poll my votes went to It Takes Two and Felix Culpa? I really enjoyed them both a lot, and both so different.

My close third goes to Fiddler's Game - delightful and funny with a good punchline.

I arrived, I read, I voted. Sorry I didn't make a lot of comments, but time is limiting.

For this poll I will vote for Fiddler's game, which I found to be both well written and humorous, and Phalanges, which struck me as a very powerful piece of writing and struck a chord with its unorthodox approach.

Congratulations everyone, it was damn tough to decide this month!

Bah!

I voted for "Bottom of the Nth" and "Jevon's Game" because they were both so darned enjoyable. But I was seriously (and I mean SERIOUSLY) torn about not checking the box for "Phalanges" and could easily have chosen two or three others.

Excellent work, folks.

Haha! I managed to read all the stories before the deadline this time!

Fiddler’s Game was the best one for me, and like in the other voting thread I had a tough time figuring out the second spot. I ended up going with Felix Culpa? (Really tough call to not vote for Phalanges.)
