"A Method for Madness" is it coming ?

Amazon.com still has "A Method for Madness" by David Gerrold for July, however there is still no cover, no description, no exact date. So i am wondering if it's actually going to be released next month. Did anyone receive an early copy or has any info? I get the feeling it's not going to happen.

This book? (http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Method-for-Madness-Gerrold-David/9780765340382)

All I can suggest is getting in contact with either Tor (I presume it's Tor US) or the US, and see what they say. I couldn't find it on the Tor US nor Tor UK sites, so that's all I can suggest.

Ouch, that's quite a long time away.

Glad you got an answer though, because at least you know when it's coming out.

While I have a great respect for David Gerrold, I have to say, this is a damn crock. I've been waiting nearly 20 years, just as many others have, for this book to come out....and now it's delayed 2 1/2 years? It was supposed to be out this month. I am sickened and very, very disappointed. I understand Mr. Gerrold has other irons in the fire, but come on, really? Nothing like keeping your readers in doubt that this series will ever be completed.

Check his website (http://www.gerrold.com/Chtorr-FAQ.htm); I am not sure he even started working on it seriously or at best he is still working after 20 years; personally I doubt there will be another Chtorr book which is a pity since I loved those books at the time; on the other hand, I am not sure how they would hold today since it's been 20 years after all and sf moved on far away from where it was then

Ya, that's why I say he's got too many irons in the fire...he's accomplished how many things since with one exception.

I am disappointed...not surprised though. He's kept his Chtorr fans hanging by a string for way too long...
