Trying to find a book my mom read when I was little. I may be confusing the book cover with another story though I seem to remember the book cover beeing orange-ish and having a cat like being holding up what looked like a floating city. The story was about a race of cat-like beings that were warriors, walked uprigh, and were helping or working with humans. i thought the book was by Asimov however I looked through what I believe are covers of all the books he authored (some 500 +) online and did not see the correct cover.

My guess is this was authored in the 70's.

thanks
T.C.

It's not one of C.J. Cherryh's Chanur novels, is it?

Bang and double BANG. I see the book in both of your links. The Chanur Saga by C.J.Cherryh. I definately was confusing the cover with another book but this one in your links is the one.

Thanks to both of you; Loerwyn & DailyRich
