If there is no chat room on this site, then there should be.
I know two members who would really appreciate one ;) (No need to mention names).
Anyway, it would be cool.

Well...with so many IM's around and third-party chat areas etc., I really don't see that we need to clog the site with a chat room as well. It really isn't in keeping with my impression of what the site is all about, and given the amount of spam recently, some of the topics are already looking like chat rooms! ;)

The answer to that is still no I'm afraid, no plans for adding a chat room. Many reasons for that, with the main ones being that it would take away from the forums and that it would be too costly to keep going.

In the simpelist of terms Dag is saying that He is a Cave Troll, and as a troll the general concept of chatting is as painful as if he were to get cought outside when the sun came up. It would just kill 'em. Besides can you think what would happen in Dag HAD to visit a chat room,....... Consider it. You post waiting on his reply..... then two weeks later..... :D :D LOL!!!! Dag in a Chat room.
Nope it's not gonna happen here I think

Yes, you are of course quite right Ogg, chatting is totally unfamiliar to me, never done it, never will. You see, the problem is that I first have to get everything translated into Norwegian, then I have write my answer and have that translated back into English again, and as you can imagine this can take some time.
..but hey, I do probably have a lower registered ICQ number than any of you, does that count for something Ogg? You know, ICQ, the chat client that somehow existed years before any of the other Instant Messaging clients where around.
