You've got to be kidding me.
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread but I just saw a trailer on FB. And Han Solo's in it?
Am I still asleep? Is this a parallel universe? Or are aliens playing with my brain?

Hi Martie.

Yes, it is.
Here's where members have been talking about it: http://http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30353
But Yes: Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig as cowboys, Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy) in there as well.
And to keep it relevant to the book Forum, novelisation by Joan Vinge, who we haven't seen around for a while...

It's out there on the net already.
I watched the first 30 minutes last night. I am unimpressed so far. The trailer made it look like one of those movies I could wait to show up on cable it not the net.
It doesn't even look as interesting as The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) which I didn't go to the theater for either.

Haha. I honestly thought it was a new Indiana Jones when I saw the commercial for it.

I read the graphic novel. Politically correct pandering. Trash.

Political correctness is just a way of censoring and controlling what people say. So if what you say is accurate, then yes the novel is trash.

I finished the movie. If it is not trash it is shallow drivel.
I would rather watch any of the first 3 Star Wars movies. They were more fun.
