Hi, I read an excerpt in the back of a book a year or two ago. It starts with a lieutenant(not positive on rank but definitely lower ranked) on a space ship docked to a space station. Hes currently in charge because the captain and all the senior officers are members of some kind of sports team. They and all the other senior members of all the other navy ships docked at the station or down on the planet for a big tournament. The lieutenant notices that the security people on the station are acting rather odd. Sending lots of people aboard the other ships and taking over. He stops them from boarding his ship and takes off from the station and heads out
to the next nearest Naval Base.
I think the excerpt was in the back of a Honor Harrington novel by David Weber but not too sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
