First thanks for reading.
I am looking for the name/author of a recent trilogy that I need to finish.
There is a family where the brother is supposed to be king, they get invaded from the north, the boy runs off. They sister stays put on the island/gets captured by the invaders. One of the family goes off to the desert in the south and is accepted by the ancient ones that give him increased powers.
another sister goes to an island and becomes a great fighter.
Another brother goes on a ship and blows up the barge that contains the drug that the evil merchants are using to keep the common man down.
Pretty recent trilogy (later than 2000).
I just read it and am looking for the third book which was not published (as I recall) when I read the first two.
