... and it was f-ing great!! Those men just get better, I swear!
Hearing them play Natural Science live was worth the price of admission for me.. simply amazing. And Alex and Geddy did an acoustic version of Resit that was so beautiful I was actually moved to tears. Neil is so amazing to listen to when he does his drum solos.. how someone can play like that, I just don't know. Though, it was the same solo from the last tour, so that was kind of lame. But, it was great to hear it a second time.

I hope you Rush fans out there get a chance to see this concert!

Brilliant Cygnus! Indeed, I am in awe of your blessed luck and good fortune.

*Wishes that the new album hadn't gone on a world tour on its way to my door...sniff!*

Okay... now I have kicked the dog, and sent the kids to their rooms in a fit of spite... (not that they are bothered...)

Where did you see them Cygnus?

RUSH.

Now THEY were an important part of the 'Soundtrack' to my life...

Along with Free, Led Zeppelin and a few others I am too ashamed to mention...

On topic, but different band, I had the incredible good fortune to see Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company) live a little while ago... Wow, made me wanna be a singer...

Sorry guys, carry on gushing...;)

P.S. Shan, that's what you get for hanging with an old man... Dodgy bands

Cygnus, you lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky....... :D

I'm waiting in the hope that they announce some European dates, which have been rumoured for end of 2002 or 2003, but sadly only that at the moment.

Rush have seen me through some dark times recently - and the new album has got to be fantastic live. I love Ghost Rider and Sweet Miracle - did they play those live? I know that they are determined to play older stuff on the tour now that Geddy's voice has broken. :D (2112 on the Different Stages Live album with Geddy's 'lower' voice has been a revelation to me, as I was not a huge fan of it before!).

Very very jealous. Wil stop drooling....soon.

Erebus - does your comment mean you haven't got a copy of Vapor Trails?

*Sniffs* Yes, Hobbit - I had one on its way, but it seems to have fallen foul of the UK mail system! (It's the only RUSH album I don't yet have!)

Juzzza, I saw Paul Rodgers live last year, supporting Alice Cooper! Wow, what a night that was. So it seems you too share similar tastes in music! How cool is that! :)

Oh, the "old" bands....

I have seen , Yes, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, The Who, with Keith Moon AC/DC and many more, did I see RUSH? maybe the memory is a bit hazy... and well so was the air at them there concerts......

Back in them there days before the NEC's at Birmingham and Manchester were built the only place big enough for a concert for these groups outside London was five miles from my home *g*

Oh heady days..... I actually touched the "pink pig" during Pink Floyds "animals tour"

Ok, that's done it I am going to sulk and muse over old memories all afternoon.......

:( :( :(
