I am just interested in knowing who my fellow countrymen are.
Ya… that’s right… I’m looking for all you Canadians out there.
Maybe we are closer then we know.
(And for everyone else out there who isn’t Canadian… Please no jokes – we’ve heard them all:D )

Go Canada! I'm surprised you've heard anti-Canada jokes. We never get any Canada-bashing in the West, which makes you wonder if any of our American jokes get across the border.
I was thinking we should post a transcript of Talking to Americans on the website. That was the funniest hour on TV ever, although it's (pathetically) reality as opposed to fantasy. Oh well.

I'm a canuck, and damn proud of it! I stand for the leaf!
Shanoncia clears her throat and sings...
In Days of yore,
From Britain's shore
Wolfe the dauntless hero came
And planted firm Britannia's flag
On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave,
Our boast, our pride
And joined in love together,
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwined,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
[CHORUS]
The Maple Leaf
Our Emblem Dear,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
God save our Queen and heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
At Queenston Heights and Lundy's Lane
Our brave fathers side by side
For freedom's home and loved ones dear,
Firmly stood and nobly died.
And so their rights which they maintained,
We swear to yeild them never.
Our watchword ever more shall be
The Maple Leaf Forever
[CHORUS]
Our fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound
May peace forever be our lot
And plenty a store abound
And may those ties of love be ours
Which discord cannot sever
And flourish green for freedom's home
The Maple Leaf Forever
[CHORUS]
Come now all, and behold Canada in all her beauty!

Well, I guess we can safely say that Shanoncia is a proud Canadian, that those pictures are beautiful, and I hope that no one is viewing this thread with a 56k modem...
