The final stage of my current bout of madness has set in.....
I have the final draft of "The Hat Man" sitting on my hard drive....
I am now going to spend the next day reading it through....
Then it's crank up the printer time and..... well publishers gird your loins!
When I get to this stage I tend to feel very sick for a few days and as nervous as hell....:( Shakey or is it flakey I be.....
That is till the first reject comes through the letter box... then it's "don't talk to me unless you wish to be dead!"
So if I post more than the usual nonsense, I apologise
Miriamele, I haven't forgotten M'dear ;)

Well, I for one wish you all the luck in the world once you start sending the MS out. I have just submitted my latest MS (or sample chapters at least) to Telos in the UK.
I find that I get nervous then...waiting for the rejection slips! ;)

Thanks Enazwo,
Good luck to you too Erebus..... fingers and toes crossed for you...
Though I doubt you will get rejection slips, me I most likely will be able to paper the study again
Now knowing my luck my printer cartridge will run out half way through the first run off........... or worse the damn printer will finally decide to die on me......
Best get back to my checking...........

Sadly, that is indeed the case, Holbook. Perhaps I should start printing my submission chapters out on the back of them in the interests of recycling and saving our precious trees! :) But then again, wallpapering is also a good option!

Good luck. If any publisher needs a little "persuading" give me a call. *clutches T-ball bat in two flippers.*

Good luck - don't get that nervous!!!
I've just decided I'm going to make it a goal to start reading more published work by posters at this forum. Why should I throw my money at some bigshot who doesn't give me the daily kicks you guys do?
