Their is a listing on Amazon.com, with a picture of the cover. It states April 2003, but, their is nothing announced at George Martin's site.

It is book four of A Song Of Ice And Fire by George RR Martin... a series that is totally stunning! Or the first 2 books were.. the third was only brilliant! :D

Thanks Cad... it seems I'm just to busy to get enough good reading under my belt anymore to know everything you guys are talking about. Tis a pity. The books sounds great.

You and me both. In truth I am holding off on A Storm of Swords for a few days to get adjusted to school work. But I am burning to take the book from my shelves and read it.
BTW. Is he American? If he is I can work him into my American Lit. class.

I noticed that Amazon had new cover pictures for the first two paperbacks - if it's all being redesigned why have a new hardback with the old style? Of course it may only be the paperbacks that have the new look.
