Alright, this thread is a lil bit of a game.. like scavenger hunt or something... And this lil game, just so happens to be a story telling game!Which I find most fitting with the numer of authors on the forum... this is how it works. Someone says the first lil but of a story and starts it with fortunatly, then the nest person replies with a staement the begins with unfortunatly, then it goes back to foruntatly... and so on!

Here's and example

Person one - "Fortunatly I one the lottery today and was able to quit my job like I've wanted to for years!"

Person two - "Unfortunatly I bought the ticket off a bum and found out it was bogus and I was flat broke with out a job."

Person three - "Fortunatly an ol mate from school came by and asked me to join their touring rock band, so I hit the road with them..."

And so on, only ours will be better then that lil example. It's not monotonous at all, i swear. So let's give it a shot. I'll start!

" Fortunatly today as I was taking a stroll in the woods I came across a rare and beautiful artifect. I wasn;t sure what it was or where it came form, but it was gorgeous to behold. Slowly I bent to lift it."

Unfortunately, as I was bending over to pick it up, I noticed that it was actually and illusion. Part of a cunning trap laid for me by an Arch-fiend, Sloberloberlamadacious!!!

ps I followed your post again Shan. It is co-incidence, trust me.

Fortunately, I had not set off the trap yet. I searched the woods and saw the great moose, Sloberloberamadacious, staring at me from his great eyes. His antlers dripped summer velvet. He sang the moose incantation.

unfortunataly the incantation was an angry one, since I had not fallen for his cunning device, but he made another more cunning then the first. A gorgeous man stood before me, translucent, and sad.. he called my name and slowly I appraoched his embracing beauty enchanted by his eyes.

Fortunately, I remebered I was not interested in handsome men, perfering beautiful women!!! So, having foiled that particular cunning plan, I sprinted off as fast as I could, running in a zig-zag motion because I knew that Sloberloberlamadacious's vision was poor, and he would find it hard to follow me!

Unfortunately, I am no nimble runner and any elf or hunter with brains would ban me from their hunting party. I made such a ruckas, crashing through bracken and crunching twigs, that the moose easily followed me. I heard his large body wade through the brush behind me.

Fortunately as I sprinted through the huck and salal I tripped and crashed onto a wooden keg of ale. As a mighty thirst was upon me and danger was even more imminent, I cracked the thirst quenching ale and was distracted by the racket I heard from where the slobbery moose monster approch-ethed:confused:
There was a man, most handsome and a lass entirely smashing, riding the evil Slobbery moose monster.

Unfortunatly the man was just as evil as the moose and for some reason I was his target. As they charged at me the transformed together into Ineluki the Storm King! Arrrrrgggggg! I thought it was just a story... I ran as fast as I could and tripped... everything went black, and I heard a cart wheel.

Fortunatly, a group of warrior penguins came and assualted the Inleuki. Driving him back with their swords and laser pistols. Then I began to regain consiousness, and took the opportunity to begin running away once again. On top of the cart wheel of course.

Unfortunately, I realized two things:

1. I forgot the beer keg and...

2. Penguins are evil vile creatures, and those penguins were probably minions of the Dark Penguin Lord Shef, who really, was just as bad as Sloberloberlamadacious(what happend to him again??) or The Storm King.

I became determined to find a way to rid the world of both of these heinous evils...
