...list the actors you'd want to play the main characters, the director, composer.

For me, Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is one of my faves:

Simon: hmmm, i don't know, thats hard cos i dont know a lot of young actors.
Morgenes: Sean Connery, dont know why.
Pyrates: Christopher Lee (evil guy again, i know its typecasting)
Miriamele: that Lelee Sobieski chick, possibly Julia Stiles.
Binabik: the guy who plays mini-me (just kidding). there has to be a midget somewhere in the world with good enough talent to make this character work on the big screen.

director: a toss up between ang lee, tim burton (if only for his ability to depict the Hayholt as the gothic keep it is), and possibly ridley scott.

composer: james horner, or Tan Dun.

what about everyone else? your favourite book into movie, who's involved in it?

you had to say it, didn't you!!!

The only film i have any clear idea about casting for is Diana Gabaldon's Cross Stitch and it's sequels.

A massive jump in time is made, so you need the hero (Jamie) to be cast at 2 different ages 20 years apart. I want Brad Pitt for the younger and Rob Redford for the older. They are one of the few pairs of good-looking actors that actually remotely resemble one another.......

*thinks about it*

Yeah they kinda do... it wouldn't be too hard for make-up dudes to make Brad look older though. Both very good actors though.
