I've just got back to a computer (Holbrook's actually) after spending a week or so trawling round Brittany in France.

I went over for an archery competion in a wonderful castle in a tiny town called Blain (not far from Nantes) and spent the rest of the time visiting the sites.

If you ever get the opportunity go to Fougeres, the castle there is amazing.

Oh, Sammie, these are for you...

Welcome back Jacquin. Good to see you again, especially as the other penguin's been strutting around like he owns the place!

Actually I didn't compete, mmy excuse is that I haven't picked up my bow in about 2 years but in actual fact it probably had more to do with the hangover of biblical proportions I seemed to be suffering from...

It was a superb week though. The guy I went over with managed to get his bike into the back of the van and so we spent a lot of time touring the kind of places you never really get to see on a holiday. The weather was awesome and the food and wine were as ever wonderful.

Take Care
