James C. Christensen covers?

I recently went to an art show featuring James C. Christensen, who is a fantasy artist. He was showing a slide show of some of his stuff and talking about it. He showed one painting of a girl with fish "swimming" in the air near the bottom of her dress. He said it was actually the cover of a science fiction book. He said that he had done several covers for the author, but didn't say who the author was or what the title of the books were. He did say that the one he showed us had fish in it that "swam" in regular air. Does anyone know what books he was talking about? THey sounded kind of interesting.
Thanks

I dunno if this helps either, but, he did do the cover for Tanith Lee 'Voyage of the Basset:Island in the Sky'.. Perhaps that cover is no longer in print? I saw the cover at barns and noble, but, it wasnt the one you described..

I'll find this dam book...Soon.. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif
