Evil Elves

Finally I have returned.
To see that the Jordan vs Martin thread is still well and truly alive in its many incarnations.
But my question is Evil Elves. Any one have a problem with this? I've just started a story where Orcs and Humans are allied against enslaving Elves, and already i've copped a lot of flak from people who can't seem to think of elves as anything but Elrond.

Evil elves are great. Look at the Dark Brotherhood (correct name?) in Feist... mysterious, dangerous and war-like. All in all, good stuff!

And hey Shannon, good to see a fellow Canberran in the ranks. :D
