Hi guys & gals,

Being new, I thought I'd say "Hi!" and introduce myself.

My real name is Helen, but you can call me Fanta since I have orange hair and am full of air bubbles :D

I have been writing stories after since I could put pen to paper, but only recently have I decided to really try to make a career out of it.

My favorite genre is fantasy as it involves making things up. Maybe I have a God complex. I like watching sci-fi programmes and reading fantasy. My favorite author is Eddings, though I'm a sucker for a series.

I also write fan fiction and have my own website (hint, hint).

I think that about covers the important stuff :p

Fanta :)

Hi Fanta

You'll fit in well here, there are lots of us author wannabes. One or two published authors as well...

Pop over to the Yawning Portal in the General Discussion Forum, I'll buy you an e-beer (if there's any left after Sammie cleaned up...)

Welcome, Fanta. :)

Jacquin's right; this is the place for wannabe authors. The difference between this forum and others I've seen is that there are real authors here, who can and do offer plenty of valuable advice to us wannabes.

Tanith :)
