Can the word thatcher be used for a man fixing roofs lain with tiles, not only thatched roofs?

So far as I know, a thatcher thatches, and a roof-tiler really is a different trade.

I would also believe a thatcher thatches, but then what do you call a guy who is a "tiler"?

Roofer just to be safe. That way, he can thatch or tile or pour tar or lay shingles :)
