For shadowrun, ur looking at a combination of magic and cyberpunk (dark future, corporations in charge not the people, computer/cyber implants, hacking, etc). Try some of William Gibson's books for some cyberpunk. Also John Meaney's 'To Hold Infinity' and 'Paradox' are good and seem right up your alley.
For bladerunner (again ur looking at a varient on cyberpunk), there were some sequels by another author, but i heard that they weren't very good. Read do andriods dream of electric sheep by phillip k. dick (the book that blade runner was based on- it is fairly different from the film).

Check out this thread for a bunch of reccomendations (plus a big argument over the definition of cyberpunk)

I'd reccomend any of Brunner's quartet of dreadful warnings, particually Stand on Zanzibar and The Shockwave Rider, for a sort of pre-apocalyptic, corporation-run decaying earth with funky computers.

Sorry, but this is getting moved where it belongs to Science Fiction.
People post there everyday and there are a number of interesting "conversations"
