DS9 Allamaraine

I watched an Episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine called "Move Along Home" and in their game this girl is playing hopscotch singing,

"Allamaraine, count to four,
Allamaraine, then add three more,
Allamaraine, if you can see,
then Allamaraine, you'll come with me"

Anybody know what Allamaraine means or what this rhyme means?

I remember that episode. Laughed my disco's off at it.
Ben Sisko playing hopscotch. Hilarious.

Can't help you with the rhyme though. Perhaps something the writers made up with their infinite creativity.

Hehe! I know what you mean! I thought it was hilarious just seeing Kira doing it. She's always so upright, strait and serious, it was funny for her to sing. though, she didn't look to enthusiastic about doing it. Not like Julian was. He's always so cute, like a child learning how to walk or something!
