Christopher Hinz

Anybody got any info on what Hinz is up to now, he wrote the fantastic Paratwa trilogy about 10 years ago, with modified twin and triplet assassins sharing one mind, and then seemed to disappear. Anybody who hasn`t read these is in for a real treat, the titles were Liege Killer, Ash Ock, The Paratwa. I`ve only been able to find one other novel by him, which wasn`t as good.
Couldn`t track down anything on the net about him, other than an attempt a few years ago to continue the Paratwa in comic book form.

But does Liegekiller stand alone? I have heard lot of good thongs about that novel and seriously have been deciding whether to buy the book, but if it's first of a trilogy, I'm somewhat reluctant to do so.
My understanding (and I could be TOtally wrong here, mind you) is that the book has a theme of psychic powers, which leaves usually very cold. However, since people whose opinion I hold in high regard have recommended Liegekiller for me, I'm ready and willing to look by the PSI-power aspect. But not a trilogy tho... http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hesitate no longer, Mundanemies! Believe me, once you`ve read the first one you won`t want it to end. And, yes, they are all self-contained novels with a beginning and an end. I know what you mean about the psychic crap, none of that here.

Thanks! I shall put in on my list. Happy to see my "information" proved to be false!

As to what Christopher Hinz is up too. He has only written one other novel next to his Partwa trilogy, and it's called Anchorism (sp).

I know he did write for DC comic imprint line called Helix. I should have picked up, it was only about 8 issues, but, the story line was centered around Partwa..

I know in the next month or so, he is writing the new Max title (Adult line from Marvel) called Blade.

Ps. Read Liege Killer, and the rest. One of the BEST series I have read. Wow..

Yes, it's called "Gemini Blood." I've read the trilogy and it's good stuff. The comic book series was based upon that trilogy's universe, but not necessarily centered around what happened in the books. I believe it got to 11 issues, if I'm not mistaken.

I have about 6-7 of the issues (missing some here and there) and it's good storytelling, but the art is somewhat lacking, IMO.

BTW, Helix, and the series, is now defunct.
