Time Problem??

Is it just me or what??

The board time is actually 5 hours behind what the time actually is. I haven't changed anything in my user profile and I'm not sure exactly how long it's been like this - possibly a couple of days.

Can anyone offer an explanation? I can't even alter the time to MAKE it right. To get the correct time of day, means it shows that I am still in yesterday.

OOH!! Maybe I can answer my own question. Is it something to do with changing host servers??

Still want to know if it can be fixed, mind you. I like to have the proper time looking at me. :D

It's been doing it since the server change, i think. I got the right time for me by asking it for GMT + 6 hours (the default was GMT + 1), which is just ridiculous cos i'm IN GMT!

I like the idea that, to be on time, you have to be in yesterday though V.....scarily appropriate ;)

Gee - ta Sammie. As if I'm not confused enough already.

As I am already on +11, adding another 5 hours can't be done - I have to take it back to -8 yesterday. :(

Ooops, sorry about that, changed servers and didn't think about the time settings being different. Think I got it right now though :)

Oh thank you Dag. Now I can move back to Australia instead of being in Canada yesterday. (Not that there's anything wrong with being in Canada of course ;)) But it's nice to be home. :D

The clock's a bit off again. Not really serious - only about 15 mins. But just thought I'd bring it tou your attention.
