I've seen this in stores, and the premise seems reasonable enough.

Has anyone seen this film? If so what did you think of it?

One of my favorite movies of all time. Not a big action movie though. Very smart and thought provoking though.

Really, really, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY good.

A human drama first and sci-fi movie second. But it is a very good movie by any standard. Even those not usually enamored with dramas should find this an interesting movie since I don't think it falls into the frequent drama trap of being overbearing. The perspective is neither too close to nor too remote from the characters. I'm pretty sure that Gattaca is amongst the best movies that I've seen from 1997 and I like the movies from 1997 such as L.A. Confidential, Good Will Hunting, and As Good as It Gets.
