Starship Troopers Chronicles

I'm intereseted in this series, but it - such as many other sf series, both good and ugly - wasn't (and won't be) cast in my country, Italy: I just loved Heinlein's book and I've heard that this series is very well done and pretty faithful to the original text.

In order to watch it, I'm planning to buy the six dvd's but nowhere on the net I was able to discover if the whole 40 episodes of the first series are stored in those six dvd's: can someone tell me if they're all held in those six dvd's?
And, is this series really worth the buy?

I haven't seen all the shows but the ones I have seen were pretty good. I did a google search for some fan sites and the people on the forums said there are some that havent been put on dvd yet. These are called the "ice asteroid" episodes. I suggest you get the first dvd "The Pluto Campaign" and if you like it get the rest.:)

Do the shows begin with the troopers in boot camp, or after the events of the novel?
