Not too many years ago I recall that a foreign tv channel (Austrian? German?) cast a sf series whose title I don't remember: somewhere I read that it was the dearest series ever made, with a budget of more than one million Us dollars per episode.
I remember very little of this series: it was set in a futuristic deep space, where terrans were fighting with an alien race. There were different characters, some were fliers pilots, others were a space-marines-like infantry. The settings were surrounding and well done. It wasn't - and I'm sure of it - any of the Babylon 5 series.
Ah, and someone told me also that this series was somehow linked to Haldeman's "The forever war" novel.
Thank you again for your help. :D
