I do have a question if you wouldn't mind asking Fitz -
What time period are we looking at for the next book. The first one took place through a bit over a decade - will we see another decade in the next book? Shorter? Longer?

Eventine (and everbody else for that matter):

I'll send an e-mail off to Mrs. Flewelling in a couple of days, hopefully by then, some more people (hint, hint), will pose a couple of questions.

Well, we don't have to wait too long now for the next book.

Question is: how long do we have to wait for the last book? Is she already writing it and if, how well does it go?

Has been some time since I got to write here, but now I stopped reading HP5 . . . ;)

Other questions? That's just like in school. The teacher says: "Any questions?" And I sit there, thinking 'Well, I understood everything - I think.' and the horrible silence streches on and I feel stupid because I think the teacher does not believe us to really have understood . . .

Okay, but I think Eventine's question very interesting.
Other things I would like to know (hey, I had time to think about it):
- Do you already have an outline for your trilogy, with set points that you want to reach or are you just writing?

- What do you think about Tobin yourself?

- What would you say is the Tamir trilogy really about? (Ouch, sounds strange. But sometimes authors have an idea behind there writing, so . . .)

- Why that cliffhanger? (I really liked it, but we discussed about it, so . . .)

Something else in between: I ordered her other trilogy. :)

And I think it a very interesting story element, that the country is actually losing its equality of genders. I am looking forward to see them struggle with that!
Having found this link (http://www.randomhouse.com/bantamdell/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=0-553-58342-5#desc) somewhere, it looks like Ki is still alive!
And there is an excerpt to read, if you can't wait until July.

:)

OOh !

I just got my copy of Hidden Warrior from Borders tonight. :D

Now I just have to make time in my reading schedule to read it.
Somehow I am juggling three books at once. Maybe I will be bad and just put them all on hold and concentrate on HW. I do have the weekend, and its going to be hot and sticky -- just the time to curl up in front of the AC with a good book :)

Hopefully everyone can find it in a store near them if they are so inclined.

I do like TBDT tremendously but didn't bother much for the first trilogy.

In hindsight however it seems to me, that both are rather more connected than I thought and so the overall story becomes much more interesting for me.
The "bowl" plays a big role in the first trilogy for example and I could imagine that there will be other aspects where both series will converse e. g. the estrangement of the elfs.

So my two questions for the author would be:
Are there any reasons why her writing imo seems much more mature and self-possessed such more leeway by the editors or more time for writing etc.?
Second question: Will the storylines of the two trilogys converse in some way sometime in the future? Is there an overall setting/storyarc regarding the two series?

Hey folks:

Sorry for the lag in my response, life has been hectic lately. That said, I sent off the questions to Lynn today and will post the response when I get it.

I've just finished reading Hidden Warrior, and once again Flewelling has left me desperate to read the next in the series. I'd like to know when the final book is coming out. There seemed to be a two year gap between the first two books - I'm hoping I don't have to wait longer than a year - anyone know?

I can't say much about the book without spoiling people but I really enjoyed watching Tobin grow up a bit more, and I'm about to go and order Flewelling's previous three books.
