Hopefully this forum might help. How can I get some reviews of my books? Two of my science fiction novels, a collection of my science fiction and fantasy short stories, and a science-fiction-like nonfiction history are all up on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Borders sites. But no one seems to notice them.
1. "The Goddess of Love and the Angel of Death" is a novel that shifts between 2019 and 1997. I originally intended an Adam and Eve story. It involves a nude male art model and a nude stripper. In a gender reversal, he tempts her with a fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the form of a plastic sculpture. There are several paragraphs involved with making hardcore porn, but have no overt unpleasantness. The book is basically a love story and the aftermath of a love story.
"Sinking Into Summer's Arms" is a novel built around the finding of a body of a Neanderthal in the Austrian Alps circa 2025 by a group of postgrad researchers out of Delft, Holland. They, and in a way their Neanderthal, get mixed up in a plot to assassinate the newly appointed UN Emergency Secretary for Global Warming.
"Open 25 Hours" is a collection of my science fiction and fantasy stories, including a a pseudo-takeoff that might seem an X-Files story.
"The Tragic End of the Bronze Age" is a nonfiction popular history. But it is derived from my discovery of a science-fiction-like ancient near-end-of-the-world true story. I seem to have run across a smallpox epidemic that wiped out the Bronze Age and nearly wiped out us.
If you guys know how I can get these reviewed, it would help. I have to buy all copies of these books myself at almost their retail prices, so I am reluctant to send out to just anyone. But I think that thy are pretty good books and no one knows about them.
