<WOW! Is our story continuing, after a 4 month hiatus?> :)

Sorry, Evil One, but can't resist. For it to continue, you need to post an addition.:)

"Hey silly,"Amyria chided," you're going to have to go back and get the horse. Looks as if we still have to a ways to go." She gestured to the trail that led around the vast lake toward the tiny buildings on the other side of it. "Sort of looks like the old castle we just left."

Stolos put his hand up as he dismounted. "I'll go. All beasts have trouble walking into thin air and need psychic reassurance. It's part of the safety of this place that no other animals can enter unless they can be spoken to." He coughed. "It is the same castle you just left, but we are now in a different time. I've altered this place with some help from someone who will meet you so you all have the time to become experts of the skills that you were always meant to express. " He stepped aside, disappearing into the shimmering daylight. "Just a moment," his disembodied voice lingered.

The three of them waited a few moments, then a few more.

"Hey, hasn't it been long enough to reassure a horse?" Gilean wondered aloud.

Magenta gestured, after tracing her feet in the mud and picking up the reins of Stolos' horse. "Looks like Kendo beat us here." Magenta noticed a tiny figure walking around the edge of the lake to meet them.

"But," Gilean pointed to where Stolos had disappeared, "...shouldn't we wait for...."

Magenta huffed, and started walking with the reins of the horse. "You can if you want."

---------------- Hi everyone. This is my first post on a collaborative story. I kinda liked this one but it's been a year since the last post. I hope my adition can get the ball rolling again. -----------------------------------

Amyria and Magenta approached the lake. Gilean looked behind him, hands in his pockets. “I really think…”
Kendo stood at the edge of the lake and smiled. “Good to see you.”
Magenta stopped short. “Who’s that?”
“Who?”
Magenta’s finger jutted past Kendo’s ear. “That guy.”
Kendo spun. She caught sight of the slight man making his way towards them. “Yes, who are you?”
“Who the hell are you people?” The stranger continued toward them. “And what the hell are you doing in my house?”
Magenta cocked her head toward Kendo and whispered: “This is his Castle now? At what point was this place his castle? He doesn’t have an affinity. Is he a Mage?”
Suddenly the man was standing right beside her. “Am I a what?”
Magenta started. Amyria ran towards her. Kendo spun to face the man. “We’ll ask you nice one more time: who are you and what are you doing here?”
A wide grin played across the stranger’s face. He walked away and sat in the soft grass by the lake. The water lapped behind him and he sat there, grinning.
“Well?”
Gilean ran up to stand beside them. “Who’s this?”
The stranger leaned back on his elbows. “I’ll ask you again, who are you people and what are you doing in my house?”
Kendo threw her hands into the air. “That’s it! Get rid of him.” She stalked away. “Where’s Stolos?”
“Here.” Stolos appeared through the air. “Who’s our guest?”
“Are you Stolos?” The stranger stood and walked towards him.
“Yes, who-”
“Will you please get out of my house? And take these people with you… well maybe not the pretty one.” He winked at Amyria.
Amyria’s eyebrows shot together, she spun and walked away. Stolos stood up straight and his chest shot out. “Now see here.” His pantera, behind him, growled. “I think you should leave.”
“This is my house. You leave.”
“Who are you?”
“K.”
“Kay?”
“No, K. Now leave.” K stood and moved towards Stolos and the others, looking at them with a frown and a steely glare.
Stolos gestured and the pantera pounced on K. K didn’t stop moving and the pantera passed right through him. The creature wailed and then dissipated.
Stolos sucked in his breath and backed up a step. “What was that?”
