Mod note: General Book/Author Chat
A little like our 'online chat' thread in the Playroom, this is the (book orientated) place where you are free to chat about whichever book/author you like, just as the conversation takes you. If you go nuts about a particular person, i shall ruthlessly chop your posts out and make them into a new thread - but hey, that's not a Bad Thing!
There is one rule in this thread - keep the topics to authors and books please.
Also, if people are very keen to chat about a particular author, perhaps some of the nice and helpful senior members would be so kind as to point them towards relevant, more 'on topic', threads.
Eg - anyone who's wondering who this Stover guy is - go here (http://www.sffworld.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4623) for the bookclub discussion of 'Heroes Die' and here (http://www.sffworld.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1948) for a recent discussion of the man in general. :)

I for one, wouldn't believe it either. Stover is King. Tho' I think Stackpole is a REAL close second.
